I started this painting just a couple of days before war in Ukraine has begun. I felt that this is going to happen. That this is inevitable. The whole world was upside down. Emotionally it was a really difficult time for me, I had too much in my head. Too many inner battles. I felt the urge to express myself on the canvas. But I didn’t know how and what I needed to paint. And suddenly I saw a video of a dance performance “Mist” by NTD . I was deeply impressed. That was exactly what I needed, exactly what I was feeling, hence I decided to use it as a reference, in particular photo by @rahirezvanistudio
